After flop show in UP, Rahul focusses on AP

Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi who was the face of the Congress in Uttar Pradesh has shifted his focus to Andhra Pradesh. He has taken the responsibility to stream line the party in AP. Party sources say, Rahul has been in constant touch with some of the AP Congress MPs since few days. Issues like Jagan's wave, Telangana statehood, Presidential polls, Internal Politics in the Party were discussed in these meetings.

It was because of AP, UPA formed the government at Centre twice. So, AP's tally is very important for High Command to retain power in 2014 polls. Now, the responsibility lies on Rahul's shoulders to accomplish the mission.

Despite Rahul's vigorous campaign in UP, Congress recorded dismal performance in the Assembly polls. On the other hand, Akilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party won majority seats and formed the government. It's proven that Rahul's magic hadn't worked in UP, but will the same magic work in AP?
