Story:
Onamalu revolves around a village life . Narayana Rao ‘master role’ in the movie is done by Rajendra Prasad, who grows as an orphan in a village . He completes his education taking with the help of villagers.

Narayana Rao joins as a teacher in the same village. Narayana Rao children will settle in America and he leaves to America. Narayana Rao can’t digest the culture and returns to the same village and Narayana Rao recollects all the sweet memories of his village while travelling from the airport in a car to his place . He understands the importance to human relationship. But, for a surprise he find people with completely changed mentalities. As Mahatma Gandhi said “India lives in its villages” . How our Narayan Master will enlighten the people? And what all changes he brings in their lives? …is the remaining story.


Performance:
Rajendra Prasad already done somany films like Aa Naluguru and Mee Sreyobhilashi. He is the only one hero who suits for this kind of Roles. Kalyani done the wife role. Raghu Babu, Erramanzil and Chalapati Rao and Siva Parvati performed well.


Technical:
Director Kranti Madhav’s narration is good but can do much better. The strength of the film is the dialogue writer and the cinematographer. Koti composed music for the film.


Analysis:
Onamaalu is not a ‘commercial cinema’. The first half is about showcasing incidents of goodness in the picture-perfect rural community, the second half is all about how life has “degraded”. The gender of films are not liked by masses and romantic movie lovers. The people who love Aa Naluguru and Mee Sreyobhilashi movies will like the movie. The director shows the ideal village in India


Verdict:
Onamaalu is a Feel Good Movie, Message Oriented film but let us wait how mass audience receive the movie
