In a bid to fight for the welfare of farmers aka the food donors of the state, Telugudesam has started a maha dharna today. Along with CPI, Naidu has started this event to take pot shots at the ruling party.

'If the farmers of state open their third-eye, there will not be a future for the whole country', Naidu said. He expressed fear that many farmers are committing suicides due to the lack of foresightedness in the Congress government. He accused, 'No farmer is getting loans without interest, quality seeds, and proper power supply. These rulers are running away from the opposition as they don't know how to save farmers now'. However, Congress sleuths are asking what TDP has done in 2003 to save the plight of farmers.

Naidu has ordered for gun firing against political parties when they paraded for 9 hours power supply to farmers during TDP regime. 'Naidu is now shedding crocodile tears for food-donors. Already, Congress is giving 0% interest loans to farmers. TDP and CPI should have a look at welfare schemes launched by Congress for farmers before giving useless statements', a Congress leader stated.
