Are our MLAs Donating Vote or Selling Vote?

For every big and small election that happen in India, we hear a lot of time that voters are bought with notes. Without shedding a 'green-note', there is no doubt of getting approval from common man for next five years. Can we expect the same in Presidential election too?

Looking at the way Pranab and Sangma are meeting parties to vote for them in the presidential elections, surely the post lost its respect. Maybe this country's citizens have never thought of this. One will easily get doubt now regarding how much payment that will be given to each MLA for voting in a person's favour. If these MLAs are ready to buy votes from citizens will they not be ready to sell their own vote? Analysts say that there are plenty of chances for political parties to do business with their votes though not literally with 'cash'.

One party extends support to get projects to their state and one for a cabinet berth. One party gives their votes as a quid pro quo to save their party chief and one will do it as they are not having any other option. Election is election and selling is selling. There is no question of donation here!
