A 70-year-old woman was allegedly crushed to death by a car owned by actor Sohail Khan (Younger Brother of Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan). This tragic incident happened at around 11 pm on Sunday.

The Land Cruiser car with the registration number - MH 06 W 540 was seized by the police after the incident. Cops took Sohail's driver Dhananjay Pimpale who was in the car into the custody and register cases on charges of rash driving and culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Although an eyewitness claimed that he saw Sohail Khan in the car at the time of the incident, police denied these reports.

As per the eye-witness, the luxury vehicle hit the old woman and ran her over, but didn't stop. The victim was identified as Chandrabala, a homeless woman.  

A similar incident happened in 2002, Salman Khan's car ran over pavement killing one and seriously injuring three others.
