The CID police on Tuesday arrested Vamsi for helping dreaded criminal Bhanu to abscond after factionist Maddelacheruvu Suri's murder last year.

After opening fire on Suri from point blank range, Bhanu travelled from Navodaya Colony to Kukatpally on Vamsi's two wheeler and from there he reached Mumbai highway to hide in the North East states fearing arrest. The cops took Vamsi into custody and also seized his vehicle. With Vamsi's arrest, all the accused in Suri's murder case were put behind the bars. However, there is still no clarity on whether Vamsi is a member of Suri gang or just a friend/follower of Bhanu.

As the arrests have come to an end, CID sleuths are likely to submit the investigation report of Suri murder case soon.
