Tuneega Tuneega Review Tuneega Tuneega Movie Review
Tuneega Tuneega Movie Review: While a few big films are postponed this July releases, surprisingly producer Dil Raju has announced that his next flick ” Tuneega Tuneega” is ready to release on July 20. “The film has shaped up well and we are pretty confident about our content and story. It would be high on both the entertainment and emotional quotient. Even the climax of the film is completely different from the regular ones,” says Dil Raju.
However, for this film, Dil Raju has joined hands with producer-director M S Raju, who has produced blockbusters like “Okkadu”, “Manasantha Nuvve”, “Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana” earlier. And with “Tuneega Tuneega”, M S Raju will be introducing his son Sumanth Ashwin as the lead with VJ-turned-actor, Rhea, who’s also debuting with this film.
The audio which was released recently, got a good response and Karthik Raja has composed the music. The film is all set to be out on July 20.

Story
Karthik Ramaswamy (Sumanth Ashwin) and Nidhi (Rhea Chakravorthy) grow up together hating each other. In between Nidhi flies to US to pursue her education while Karthik aspire to become a top dancer. Karthik happen to be the son of Madurai Ramaswamy (Prabhu) a chef who is treated as more than a friend by Ravindra Babu (Naga Babu), Nidhi’s father and a top business magnate. Ravindra Babu organizes a party to celebrate the occasion of Nidhi’s return from US and also his Dad (Vijayachander) sashtipoorti. Love blossoms between Karthik and Nidhi but her cousins play spoil sport and gets them separated. How Karthik emerge winner winning his love and becoming a star dancer has to be watched on silver screen.
Performance
Sumanth Ashwin showed good ease in dances and acting. He expressed quite well with his eyes many times and looked cute in his acting. His dance performance balancing the coke can with his feet and hands stands out. There are not much stunts in the film except for one fight to show his talent. He is the future lover boy of tollywood. Rhea Chakravorthy looked a misfit and miscast for the role of a teenage girl. She looked elder to Sumanth through out the movie. She need to improve her acting and expressions. Prabhu, Nagababu, Shayaji Shinde performed their roles to perfection while MS. Narayana, Chandramohan and others did not have much scope to perform. Parachuri Venkateswara Rao as Sumanth’s grand father delivered a few punch dialogues to liven the environment in the film.
Analysis
MS. Raju who produced many super hit films, chose teenage love story as safe bet for his son Sumanth Ashwin’s debut and also his debut as director. Story and script is nothing new for movie lovers having watched rich girl falling in love with poor boy or vice versa on innumerous occasions.
He was highly successful in keeping the viewers glued to the screens with fast paced story narration in the first half. He started the film, by introducing characters in the film in a flashback through Shayaji Shinde’s character thus saving lot of time. He ended first half with perfect twist.
However second half dragged a bit with fights between hero and heroine, while one expected love blossom in their separation. This many felt defied logic. He lost grip on the script and screenplay in the second half. Parachuri Brothers dialogues looked ordinary except in few scenes during which Parachuri Gopala Krishna appeared on screen.
Film reminds one of ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’ and director repeated the same mistakes of ‘Vaana’ and other films he produced earlier.
Technicals
Karthik Raja’s music stands out in the film. Most of the songs are melodious and keeps one glued to the screens. ‘Tuniga Tuniga’ song stands out. Background score matched with the tempo of the film. S. Gopal Reddy used his vast experience in cinematography and captured beautiful locations at the shooting spots to attract movie lovers. Editing by KV. Krishna Reddy could have been little better. Production values in the film by Maganti Ramji and Padmini arts are quite good.
