Rajamouli, a God or Demigod?

All eyes are set on Rajamouli and his Eega, not just in Telugu film industry but all across India. Everyone is waiting for this film with bated breath. Apparently Eega is going to take box office by storm and the current lull is an indication to it. Trade experts started to estimate the film's potential and ace filmmakers are predicting it to be the all time biggest hit in Tollywood history.

Can Eega really make 100 crore in all the languages if not in Telugu? Does the film have that caliber to go an extra mile without a superstar to its support? In Hollywood, films like Avatar, Spiderman etc. created history without a superstar. In fact animation films do great business there. Will Eega set that trend here and prove that audiences are ready to watch the films without a hero? If Rajamouli can pull off such miracle he will be considered as God. Why because none of the directors in entire history of Indian cinema have scored the all time biggest commercial hit without a HERO.

Even if Eega fails to achieve so big and end up somewhere around 50 crore collections, that wouldn't be sidelined as a mean feat. Only superstars with demigods status have registered such massive figures. So, let's wait and watch whether Rajamouli is a God or Demigod. Mr. Modesty Rajamouli says that he is not looking for records. All he wants is a decent success as he made a decent film. But what he has to know is all that a blockbuster needs is just decent content these days!
