Lok Satta JP says NO to President

In a surprise move, Lok Satta chief Jayaprakash Narayana who is the face of the party announced that he wouldn't contest for the president post again. He said that his focus would be on fighting on the people's issues at the National level from now.

JP opined that some of the leaders in the party are more efficient than him to lead Lok Satta in the state. Lok Satta's state, district and mandal level leaders will be elected soon through the secret ballot voting system. Party leadership is going to take stern action against the leaders and workers who form groups in the party and the ones who try to influence the voters with caste factor and distributing money.

The Lok Satta president declared that his party has joined hands with the Left Parties at state and central level for bringing change in the current election system. JP is also planning to organize a quit corruption program on August 9th, with the aim to gather support of one crore people.
