CBI's Master Plan By Sending JD Abroad
Looks like, CBI is also playing a tactical game to counter the political colour surrounding Jagan's cases. With CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana getting ready for an official trip abroad, the investigation agency is following a different route to wrap the illegal assets cases of YSR-C Chief.
CBI has lodged an additional charge sheet in Jagan's case in connection with the already launched Charge Sheet I. This additional charge sheet deals with Hetero and the quid pro quo that took place to benefit this company. For the first time, CBI mentioned that Jagan got all these investments from Hetero worth 35 crore as a bribe for the favours that all doled out by his father. Surprisingly, statements from two unknown witnesses are also submitted to the court. This might help CBI counsel to defend strongly against Jagan's bail plea.
Insiders revealed that CBI will be lodging more charge sheets in the absence of Joint Director as this is the best time to do that. After the call-list leakage drama, JD is playing more off-the-screen role to avoid prying eyes of media. Is this not a master plan?
