'Dollar' Seshadri gets 'Golden' chance

Controversial TTD priest 'Dollar' Seshadri got a golden opportunity in the form of extension of his service for two more years. His current term will end on July 5, 2012. The board members say Seshadri's current extension is for using his 40 years vast experience to prepare guidelines for conducting pujas, festivals and also for training the younger priests in Tirumala.
As per the rules, Seshadri's service ended few years back and he even retired in 2006. But the then TTD Board under the chairmanship of Bhumana Karunakar Reddy permitted him to continue in service for two more years. After the end of that period, his service was again extended for 3 years as contract employee. Now, the present board has given another opportunity to him.
Why the TTD Board is giving this special treatment for Seshadri, who was involved in Gold Dollar Scam and facing allegations of being at service of the VIP pilgrims for most of the time at Tirumala, just based on experience. Only Lord Balaji knows!
