Evergreen classic film Gundamma Katha starring NT Rama Rao, Nagesgwara Rao, Savitri, Jamuna, Suryakantham et al in the main roles have completed its 50 years and now the news of the remake version has hit the headlines again.

Though the buzz on the remake version is popping out from several years, here comes the interesting news that current stars both Jr.NTR and Naga Chaitanya are showcasing the interest to play the siblings by stepping into the shoes of their respective grandfathers.

Though Nagarjuna and Bala Krishna earlier planned to act in the remake version, it did not materialize due to several reasons and now actor ANR is hoping that this multistarrer film will hit the floors now with the actors Jr.NTR and Naga Chaitanya in the leads. Movie Moghul Ramanaidu is in plans to produce the film on Suresh Productions banner.
