The only thing that worked in favour of YSR Congress according to the ruling party is ‘sympathy’. So, why should not they start inventing plans to get the same for 2014 elections?

In the by-polls, it is proved that Congress has perfectly played the ‘caste-card’. If the sprawling Reddy community gives them a hand, then there are Kapu voters to save them from defeat. Say it entry of Chiru or strengthening of Botsa, ruling party is getting enough mileage even if Jagan’s fan is at full speed. The best thing they can do now is to arrest Botsa in some case and get that required ‘sympathy’. One may get a doubt that if Cong itself arrests Botsa, to whom people will vote for. Botsa can send a message from jail, like Jagan had sent through Vijayamma, to vote for the ruling party only.

Though the advice looks silly, it has more satire. Once the polls aree
 over, no Congress leader is seen interacting with people and checking their welfare. If this scene continues this way till 2014, they will have no other option than arresting someone, to win the ‘sympathy’ of innocent voters.
