Why No Talk About AVS Blog Awards?

He happens to be the elite member of regular gang of comedians during the 90s. But, all that washed away after he wielded mega phone for a couple of times. Amanchi Venkata Subrahmanyam aka AVS is the man we are talking about.

Apparently, AVS tried in all possible ways to establish himself as a director in Telugu industry before failing miserably. Somehow his out dated ideas and self-centric scripts took a back seat at the Box Office. AVS recently launched an online blog that allows the visitors to vote for their favourite stars. He proudly named it as 'Blog-buster Awards'. Off late, there is no talk about this in the Film Industry, even after it got identified as unique achievement by 'India Book of Records'. Though the idea of AVS is unique in launching online blogging and voting for favourite stars, it did not work upto expected extent due to improper marketing and lack of star-face to push the same to next level. AVS is renowned as one of the most influenced persons in film arena and political zone as well. Observers say that he should have used his fame and contacts efficiently for promoting his Blog Buster Awards.

If at all AVS tried to make Blog-Buster Awards a brand, by launching it in a big way with a star hero and few hot heroines, then the reach and coverage would have been much higher than it is now. Many film magazines and small brands made it possible with marketing techniques, then why can't a famous actor like AVS do? Hope AVS takes up this seriously and bounce back with success he deserves.
