The Tollywood circuit has always been known for conventional masala entertainers but with each passing day, they are also attempting to adopt new concepts and genres, especially through remakes. Now, it is heard that the time has come for a pregnant lady to enter the Tollywood circuit.


Well, we are talking about the Hindi film ‘Kahaani’ which scored a raging hit across the nation and now plans are underway to remake it in Telugu. Sources say the awesome beauty Anushka has been approached to step into the shoes of the sensuous Brahmin beauty Vidya Balan to essay the role of a pregnant woman who comes in search of her missing husband.

It is heard that one of the producers is Sujoy Ghosh who directed the original. While it is not sure if Anushka has given her confirmation, the cine folks say there is no one else better than her who can shoulder this role. What remains to be seen is how will the fun loving Telugu audiences receive this concept based flick.
