The CBI special court has granted bail to all the people summoned in Jagan's illegal assets case except for A1 and A2. Both Jagan and his tainted auditor Vijayasai Reddy are expected to receive the order of Court by 3pm today.
For all those who are standing as accused in the First Charge sheet lodged by CBI, the special court has issued bail. List includes Srinivasa Reddy, Nityananda Reddy (Aurobindo Pharma), Sarat Chandra Reddy (Trident Life Sciences), AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation's former officer Y. Vijayalakshmi, and Aurobindo Pharma's former company secretary Chandramouli. Sources revealed that Jagan and Vijayasai are not granted bail as they stand accused in CBI's second and third charge sheets too.
Industrialist Nimmagadda and bureaucrat Brahmananda Reddy are also presented before the Court by CBI, seeking four more days of custody, but sent them back to Chanchalaguda jail with Court's order.
On the other hand, both the CBI and Jagan's counsel have finished their arguments regarding the arrest and custody of Jagan in the disproportionate assets case. CBI is seeking 14 days of custody for further investigation, while Jagan's lawyers argued that the arrest is illegal and contempt of Court's order.
The Speccial Court has reserved its judgement till 3 pm today. Tensions prevailed all over the state whether Jagan will count bars or scouts free in his convoy by today evening.
