Suriya, who is busy with his much awaited big budgeting film Maatraan, is presently shooting in Studios of Balumahendra.

K.V.Anand is helming the camera for Maatraan who is being choosy for the new locales and canned some of the sequences in his favourite location Wai, near Pune. Remember Wai is the place where, Ballelaka track from Rajinikanth’s Sivaji was filmed.

Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead in this action entertainer that has Suriya playing the dual role. Director K.V.Anand has shot Maatraan in the exotic locales of Russia, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia and Croatia that is being produced by AGS Entertainments. S Sounder Rajan is handling the cinematography for Maatraan and Harris Jayraj is taking care of music.
