Bollywood ace actor Aamir Khan's debut television show 'Satyamev Jayate' has earned the 'numero uno' tag even before broadcasting its first episode.

The entertainment channel 'Star Plus', which is producing the show, has blocked all the 2,000 promos slots for about 27 hours (Monday to Tuesday). All this slots (worth Rs 6.25 crore) would be used for the promotion of Aamir's show. This is the first time that such a huge amount was spent on a celebrity-hosted TV show for a single day.

The presence of Aamir Khan will take the TRP's of the show to the next level and the channel is expecting to get atleast thrice their investment from advertising revenues. Usually, the Star charges Rs 10,000 for a 10-second slot. But for Aamir's show it is going to sell the 10-second slot for Rs 5 lakh.

Satyamev Jayate will showcase the life of the people and their unfiltered emotions from all walks of life. The dialogue promos "Yeh show aakhon se nahi, dil se dekhna padega" of show has already become very popular. This show will be aired on TV from May 6 onwards.
