Fading actress Trisha, who is playing the love interest of NTR in Dammu, has played emotional card to get media attention.

The actress has shed tears on the last day of shoot for Dammu. When quizzed about the same, Trisha's mother Uma Krishnan said, "Trisha is an emotional person. She couldn't control herself on the last day after the shooting was wrapped up as she is attached to the unit members".

However, Industry sources say this might be a ploy of the actress to garner media attention. Of late, filmmakers were not showing any interest in Trisha. Infact, Dammu was offered to her only after Shruti Hassan walked out of the project citing date issues. She has no offers in hand after the release of Dammu. So, the actress has repeated Nayantara's Sri Rama Rajyam farewell scene, for media glare. Trisha succeeded partially by drawing the attention of media, but will this move fetches her few offers or not is to be seen!
