During his initial times, the director scored few stupendous hits paving way for some more hit movies. His novel ideas and innovative screenplay contributed to the rise of versatile movies with Hollywood kind of screenplays. However, his never-ending like for costly sets and high budget action sequences catapulted him into a tight-spot. More than the movie's plot and screenplay, Gunasekhar started worrying about his 'sets' and that eventually made him a director of 'exceeding budgets'. After super hit OKKADU, he made ARJUN and SAINIKUDU, films that redefined the meaning of flops in Tollywood. When no other producer knocked the door of Gunasekhar fearing his 'paithyam', he got VARUDU by luck and now NIPPU. There is no exaggeration in saying that one cannot sit for more than 30 minutes in his seat watching this Raviteja's movie. Gunasekhar's screenplay intelligence and narration capabilities are at an all time low mimicking something like that of a short film on 'YouTube'. Eventually, NIPPU will become one of the horrible movies present day youth has seen, after SALEEM and PARAMA VEERA CHAKRA.
