Richa Gangopadhyay goes back to her roots

After her successful stint in Tollywood and Kollywood beautiful actress Richa Gangopadhyaya now moves to Bengal film industry. Her parents hail from West Bengal and being a Bengali she has very good command in Bengali. Now the latest news is that the actress is going to feature in the Bengali remake of SS Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu. She is going to play the role portrayed by Anushka in the Telugu version over there. This will be her first film in Bengali.
Prosenjit Chatterjee is essaying the role of Ravi Teja in this untitled film. Rajib is donning the director’s cap for this mass entertainer. Vikramarkudu was released on June 23, 2006 in Telugu and became one of the biggest hits of that year. The makers of this Bengali film are very confident over the film’s success in Bengali too.
Richa won critical acclaims for her performances in recent outings Mayakkam Enna and Osthe. These films made her a star heroine in Kollywood and the critics say that she is undoubtedly the best actress of this year. The beautiful actress is currently busy shooting for her new film with Prabhas under the direction of Koratala Siva.
