Right now, rumors are getting spread that ‘Businessman’ is a remake of ‘Pokiri’. Similar characterization, mafia backdrop, a person transforms into a top league Don from nowhere, heroine hates violence still likes the hero, a twist before climax. We have seen the same elements in ‘Pokiri’.

When Puri Jagannadh was asked the same question, he explained that ‘Businessman’ is a complete reverse of ‘Pokiri’ and gave a few details about the story. But again that sounded more like Pokiri’s story. Looking at all this, it is unavoidable to think that it has many shades of ‘Pokiri’. Anyway, it takes just two more days to get the doubts clarified as the movie is releasing on this Friday.
